Okies so i am slowly pulling my life together here. I Have started driving lessons (£200 for 10) from there i have also applied for full time jobs. Though this bit may get thrown into the spanners if i decide to go with what am about to tell you next.
These past few weeks, after i found i was going to graduate i started to wonder what i was actualy gonna do with my life, how was i gonna get to the job i wanted, what was the job i wanted? I had to think long and hard, trust i've been annoing Barrie with this for ages XD But i decided i wanted something with a regular pattern, none of these 'these are your hours this week and these are your days', want something to be proud, something with a title. A job that would earn me money so i could live without wanting and nothing to do with sales! So what did i conclude to...optometry (optician).

They earn quite a bit and if i do go with this, and lets say i do, if i am at for like 3 years or so i can go private practive and earn at least 75k a year, more if i partner up with the NHS. So finance wise its what am looking for. But why you ask, well i have a lot of my own eye problems that i want to delve into, understand why things happen the way they do, what cuases your eye sight to deterioate like it does and be able to help others understand it too. So i looked into approved by the GOC (registry site for opticians that set optometry standards throughout the uk) and only Caledonian uni offer it. Its a 3 year course degree, 4 years if you want honours and more for masters...so i have asked SAAS if they can help me out and i have also asked the uni. If i am given the chance and am allowed to do i will become an optician...but then again thats all depending on what they (saas and uni) say.
